Raising money is easier than you may think!

The goal of this event is to raise as much money as we can for Love146.  Therefore each participant will raise a minimum of $146.

Two simple ways to raise money:

1. Online Approach: Credit card donations. Once you register you will have the ability to quickly and easily create your very own online donation page. Then simply direct people to your page where they can contribute with their credit card.
2. Traditional Approach: Collecting cash and checks. Checks should be made payable to Love 146 and include “RRW4L”in the memo section. Checks should be turned-in the day of the event.

Fund-raising Ideas:

• Send an e-mail to all of your contact telling them about the event and why you are participating. Don’t forget to send periodic reminders.
• Use your social networks such as Facebook, Myspace and Twitter to ask people for help. Be sure to include the link to you donation page.
• Make sure you talk to friends and family.
• Ask you your neighbors to contribute.
• Ask local businesses you frequent for a donation.
• Ask your coworkers to help out. Also don’t forget to check if your company offers a matching program.
• Host a fund-raising party.
